Our Story

Jonathan spent years building other people's projects before deciding it was time to build his own. Working for one of the top general contractors in the country, he traveled from job to job — including an $850M highway, bridge, and tunnel project in Louisville, KY, where he met Tom. The two formed a fast, brother-like bond over their shared analytical mindset and drive to build things right.

While in Louisville, Jonathan bought his first property — because he wanted his money building his own equity, not someone else's. He found it through an online auction and renovated it using the "live-in-flip" and "house-hacking" strategies now common among real estate investors. That first project sparked a passion for real estate and a new direction for his career.

To chase that direction, Jonathan left a high-paying corporate job to bet on himself at a property-technology (prop-tech) startup. That's where he met Bolanle, and the two built an instant, sister-like connection through their shared work ethic and faith.

Having gone through his own renovation projects, Jonathan knew firsthand that the hardest part of real estate investing is finding a general contractor you can actually trust.

Quality Builders was built to be that contractor — combining Tom's construction and engineering background with Bolanle's technology and marketing expertise to create something different: a tech-driven GC company built to bring clients closer to their projects through clear communication and transparency.
